I recently had some issues with the camera not recording 6K (even if the setting was on 6K). Recently I updated the firmware and the issue seems to be resolved. However, there is an odd resolution at 6K 30fps.
So, I’ve tested the video on all available settings and these are the results:
3K - 50fps: Resolution 3040 x 1520, Bitrate: 100.47Mbps
4K - 24fps: Resolution 3840 x 1920, Bitrate: 100.39Mbps
4K - 25fps: Resolution 3840 x 1920, Bitrate: 100.39Mbps
4K - 30fps: Resolution 3840 x 1920, Bitrate: 100.81Mbps
6K - 24fps: Resolution 6144 x 3072, Bitrate: 120.25Mbps
6K - 25fps: Resolution 6144 x 3072, Bitrate: 120.43Mbps
6K - 30fps: Resolution 5888 x 2944, Bitrate: 120.91Mbps Everything seems OK except I don't understand why the 6K - 30fps is lower resolution than the 6K - 24fps and 25fps? Is this normal or is it a fault of the camera?

This is normal and correct for the ONE RS 1-INCH 360 EDITION. It’s the same official specs from Insta360.
Good to know! Would you reccommend shooting in 6K 25fps to have the extra bit of resolution rather than 30fps?
It’s down to personal preference – No right or wrong answer here. I prefer shooting in 6K30 because more frames will make the footage smoother.
